Lord, let my prayers be more fragrant this morning than fresh ground hazelnut coffee.  Lean in close to inhale the aroma of my love and worship.  Embrace me with your loving kindness.  Strengthen me with your intimate presence.  I worship you deeply.  I yearn for you. 

Come Holy Spirit and pray through me.  I surrender this time to your purpose in prayer.  What is on your agenda.  Let me serve you as your instrument of access.  Use me to release your kingdom reign and power in the earth as it is in heaven. 

Father I pray over the seed that was planted in the hearts of so many yesterday.  Lord, I ask for a harvest from those seeds.  Lord, keep the enemy from stealing it.  Water it and watch over it.  Keep the birds from pecking it away, shade it from the scorching sun, remove the thorns that choke, let there be a hundred fold harvest. 

Lord, I pray for every soul that heard the gospel on Sunday, that as they return to work, and school, and family, and circumstances of daily life today – that your word would take root.  Lord, I pray for radical transformations.  New life.  Light to shine in the dark places.  Freedom from bondages.  Make a difference.  Change them by your word.  Make your word count.  Don’t allow it to “return void”, and useless, and ineffective, and unfruitful.  Cause it to change the terrain of every life.  Lord, I pray for your words to be rooted deeply in good ground and bring forth fruit in every life.  Watch over the seed.  Bring the Harvest, Lord.

Lord I pray that a genuine holiness would be the icon of your people.  Change us to be really like you.  To be holy as you are holy.  Lord, let righteousness in character, and integrity in behavior spring from hearts that are truly regenerated and reformed by your mercy and grace.  Power wash us with the blood and the word.  Remove the deep stains.  Lord, I pray for true and lasting change.  Change me, Lord. 

Father, you alone can set up kings and take them down.  Have your will and your way in the kingdoms of this world – the great and the small.  Cause governments to sit upon righteous shoulders.  Remove the corruption and manipulation of the enemy.  Bring into power those who know your heart and will perform your will without fail. 

Lord, I pray for a clean sweep of the corruption in our government and our military.  Father, take the control of finances out of the hands of those who misuse their power.  Put the money in clean hands.  Let integrity and accountability bring order and restore our economy. 

Lord, I pray for those who are leading our military.  Father, I pray that every office in the Pentagon will be filled with your presence today.  Let the fear and awe of Jehovah settle upon them.  Renew and rekindle their desire to protect and defend your people.  Lord, direct and implement the policies and practices that please you and strengthen our armed forces.  Raise up righteous leaders in our military.  We call forth your will and your purposes to be accomplished.  Lay out effective strategies and bring about quick victories.  Deliver our enemies into our hands. 

Unmask our true enemies.  Help us to discern their plans and intentions.  Lord, would you put within the hearts of the leaders of this world a love and respect for this country.  Cause us to be worthy of that respect. 

Holy Spirit, would you raise up intercessors who will shape our world in prayer.  Give us an army of righteous ones who will accomplish much.  In Jesus’ name.  AMEN.
