The broken rubble of ministry

Renew my passion for ministry. Father, forgive me for all the times I've tried to proceed in my own strength. Forgive me for all the times I have pulled back, just when things were getting good. Show me how to break through the limiting habits and unconscious sabotages that I have allowed to restrain me.

Help me, Lord, to sort through the rubble of failed projects, broken dreams, false starts, neglected words of direction, lost focus and plans that have starved to death from lack of attention. Show me which ones are worth resurrecting. Show me which ones were ordained by you.

Help me, Lord, to become entrenched in life-giving habits of waiting on you, doing only what I see the Father doing, exercising faith, keeping my flesh in submission to the Spirit, knowing when the cloud is moving and following wherever you lead.

Praying for family

Father, I pray for my children and grandchildren and all the generations to come. Father, in everything we think and do and say, let our motives be pure, our attitudes right and our priorities in order. Help us to fulfill all the potential you’ve placed within us. In Jesus’ name and for your glory. AMEN. SO BE IT.

Lord, I pray that my children would be totally committed to serving you with all their hearts. Lord, help us all to become part of the passionate bride of Christ. Lord, I pray that their salvation would be sure and secure in you – radically saved, new creatures in Christ Jesus.

Help us all to grasp forgiveness for ourselves and release it for others. Let us be pure in heart - harboring nothing as guilt in ourselves or bitterness toward others. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and let the fruits and gifts of the Spirit be abundant and remain.

Lord, place within each heart a passion to serve you and a confidence in the power and privilege of prayer.

Help us to lay a strong and firm foundation that cannot be shaken. Ground us in the truth of your word untainted by religion and self-righteousness. Help us to get it right. Align us with your word and your purpose.

Give us a deep and abiding love and sense of responsibility for each other. Cause us to be a healthy family that loves and cares for each other. Help us not to overstep our boundaries, but cause us to be close and accepting of one another.

Father, strengthen us in the places where we are weak and vulnerable. Lord, keep us from addictive behaviors and substance abuse. Help us to turn from unhealthy lifestyles and to become all that we can be in you. Lord, I tear down every stronghold of lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life – I loose righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Let your kingdom reign in our family.

Show us the best ways to nurture and discipline each child. Show us how to raise children who are full of integrity, pure in heart, respectful, good students, hard working and clean in body, soul and spirit. Show us how to be organized and effective in everything we do. Help us to get things done and finish what we start. Show us how to work smart.

Be God of this family. Help us to keep you as the central focus of all that we are and do. Lord, help us to be totally committed to you.

Lord, silence the outside voices and influences that would turn the hearts of my children in wrong directions. Give them teachers and authority figures that will guide them in the way of truth and help them to be all that you have ordained them to be. Give them friends and cause them to be friends that strengthen and correct and enable each other to be better because of those relationships.

Father, heal all the wounded hearts in our family. Lord, I ask for deep and complete emotional healing and restoration.

Lord, give my children a deep abiding love for your word, your house and your presence.

Bless this family – in Jesus’ holy name. AMEN

Prayer for graduates

Father, I pray for all the graduates who are making life changing decisions about their future. Lord, help them. Guide them. Give them insight and wisdom beyond their years. Show them the path that you have ordained. Help them to make the right choices. Open doors of opportunity and close the doors that lead to mistakes.

Lord, I take authority over hopelessness and fear of failure. I bind lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life – you will not be in control of decision making. I loose righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost – Lord, let your kingdom reign in their lives.

Father, in everything they think and do and say; let their motives be pure, their attitudes right and their priorities in order. In Jesus’ name.

Thank you for the education they have received – now take over as teacher. Holy Spirit, be their personal life tutor and coach. Show them how to apply what they know.

Bless their future. Be the central figure in their future. Define their destiny. Lead them into your will and accomplish your purpose in them. Show them the straight and narrow way that leads to you.

Children of divorce

Father, I pray for divided families and crumbling homes: be their help in time of trouble. Heal those families. Take away the point of antagonism and bring peace and restoration of relationships. Align these lives and homes with your word and your will.

Father, I pray for the children of broken marriages. Shield them. Protect their hearts. Help them to find their true identity in you, Lord. Be their refuge. Help them to find stability in good places. Let your church rise up and be a covering for them. Give your church divine insight into how best to minister to these young ones who are at risk. Lead, guide, and establish your church as a resource to these hurting children of divorce.

In the name of Jesus’ I bind all the lies that the enemy would whisper to these vulnerable children. I loose the truth of your love, forgiveness and mercy.

I call forth teachers and adult authorities into their lives to guide them into healthy thinking and responses. I take authority over every root of bitterness that would become established in their hearts. Help them to turn to you for comfort and stability. Be a father to the fatherless. Nurture the motherless. Be the safety net for those who are falling through the cracks of broken homes and broken families.

Help them to see and know that all they need they will find in you.

Jesus, be their answer.

Tornado

Father, Help those who have been struck by these horrific tornadoes. Lead the rescue workers quickly to the survivors. Send your ministering angels to aid in every way possible. Father, help the churches in the area to be responsive and effective in ministering to all those in need. Show them the best ways to serve. Father, provide clean water, food, shelter and medical assistance.

Father, I pray that all those who would seek to take advantage of any who are involved in this crisis, would be stopped in their tracks. Do not allow them to prosper at the expense of those who are in need. Avenge the helpless and desperate.

Let pure and generous hearts reach out and assist. Bless the workers and show them how to work smart. Multiply the effectiveness of their efforts. Help them Lord. Show them what to do each step of the way.

Heal those who are injured. Comfort those who mourn. Be a very present help in this time of trouble. Lord, we pray for strength for all those who are assisting in the hospitals and medical facilities. Sustain, equip and empower them for the job before them. Guide them with your healing hands.

Lord, you know what they need at this moment and what they will need in the immediate future. Help them. Look ahead and provide. Let streams of provision begin to flow to them now – unhindered and appropriately distributed without being tainted with corruption.

Restore all that has been taken from these victims. Bless those who are hurting and those who are helping.

How to pray for missionaries

Father, we pray for the Ransoms and their ministry as missionaries to Ethiopia.

Harvest of souls: We ask for a great harvest of souls that will be won from the kingdom of darkness and discipled into the Kingdom of Light. Give them a hundred fold harvest and fruit that remains. Holy Spirit, go before them and soften hearts that have been hardened to the gospel message. Open doors of opportunity; give them favor with governments, law enforcement, tribal and community leaders. Let the gospel ring out loud and clear and accomplish all that you have intended.

Warfare for the mission and the missionaries: In the name of Jesus’ we take authority over every weapon of the enemy that is formed against them and we declare those weapons will not prosper. We raise the shield of faith that will quench every fiery dart hurled against them. Lord, be their defense and strong tower. Be their offensive coach and give them clear strategy and direction in their ministry.

Continuous flow of anointing: Open a living fountain of anointing that flows from them continuously. Help them not to be weary in well doing. Give them strength to go the distance. Remove those things that would try to sap them of anointing and energy for this mission. Teach them to flow in the gifts and fruits of the Spirit and keep their hearts pure under that power. Help them to walk in your strength and lean on you.

Blessing and provision for this ministry: Father, we ask you to open the treasure house of heaven and pour out abundant provision and blessing on this ministry and on this family. Supply the right tools for ministry that will assist them in being productive. Meet their daily needs for provisions of good food, clean abundant water supply, sufficient power sources, comfortable housing, transportation, communication, home schooling supplies, and special gifts for each member of their family.

Embraced by financial and prayer supporters: Lord, plant a passion deep within the hearts of many who will embrace this ministry with financial and prayer support. Help them to be faithful and tenacious in their support. We claim all the promises and blessings in your word for those who give.

Monthly support raised: We agree together and ask for committed, faithful monthly support. Father, we pray that you would open many streams of support and keep those streams flowing through the Ransom’s entire tour of ministry. Raise this monthly budget support quickly. Speak clearly to those you have assigned to support this work and cause them to be cheerful and ready givers.

Project fund raised: Lord, we see this lump sum of money to be raised as a mountain to be conquered. We want that mountain. We want to surmount this important preparation and enter this season of ministry well equipped and ready to serve. Provide, Lord. Look ahead and provide as only you can.

What should I give? Lord, I want to hear from you specifically. What do you want from me right here and right now. Show me my part in this ministry. Help me to be so submissive to your will that you can have whatever you want from me and I will give it without hesitation or regret.

Win the lost - the right way

Father, I worship you and press into your presence. Lead me beside the still waters and restore my soul. Lead me in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.
Holy Spirit, what would you have me to pray about today?

Lord, help us to pursue evangelism with
the right motives.

We raise our hearts and hands in praise and we love you with all that is in us. We commit to serving you in ways that please you and meet your standards. We choose to love the lost because you first loved us. Move us with compassion for them. Help us to SEE them. Help us to recognize the opportunities right at our doorsteps and fingertips.

Help us to skillfully brandish the best of our weapons of warfare to recover those captured by the kingdom of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of light. Help us to counsel, nurture, and disciple them until they are part of your passionate bride.

In the name of Jesus we break the chains of deception and assumed lies that hold them captive. Let the truth of your love and mercies reverberate until those chains are shattered.

Breakthrough against Cancer

Holy Spirit, we ask again that you would raise up an army of 1000 intercessors who will do battle in prayer against cancer. Give us a breakthrough, Lord.

Change the hearts of those who profit from the illness of others. Cleanse their hearts. Change their priorities. Fill them with compassion.

Lead those in cancer research to breakthrough discoveries and do-able answers. Provide the prevention and the cure to the masses. Heal us. Set us free.

Truth like a Lion

Father, we pray again for the House Oversight Committee. Give them the right questions to ask that will get to the truth.

In the name of Jesus’ we take authority over every fraudulent political maneuver that would mask the truth and we stop it now. Disarm those who are guilty and protect the innocent. Let no weapon formed against the innocent prosper.

Father, remove the corruption in every level of our government, military, law enforcement, media and educational institutions. Fill the vacuum and void with righteous servants that command the respect of this country and the world.

Open Our Eyes

Father, give us a relentless addiction to your presence. Show us how to open ourselves to you and worship you more deeply. Open our eyes to see you in the beauty of your holiness and the majesty of your throne.

Open our eyes to see ourselves as you see us. Refine us and cause us to be the best that we can be. Develop those parts of us that please you the most. Help us not to waste our lives.

Flow through us in the divine gift of discernment. Open our eyes to see what is of you, what is of self, and what is of the kingdom of darkness. Show us which weapons of warfare are the most effective in each  battle. Show us when to bind and loose. Show us when to speak to the mountain. Show us when to take authority over evil spirits. Show us when to speak and when to be silent and wait.


You said if we lacked wisdom to ask and you would not reprimand us for asking. We are asking. Give us divine sight and insight.

Warring Against Cancer

Father, I pray that you would raise up an army of 1000 intercessors who will wage war and win over cancer.

Lord, I pray for break-though in cancer research, cures and prevention. I pray for deliverance from the spirit of cancer. I pray for release of gifts of divine healings, faith and miracles. I curse the root and seed of cancer. I curse tumors and command them to be gone in Jesus’ name. I bind cancer in Jesus’ name and loose life and health to those who are suffering. I speak to the mountains of doubt, unbelief and hopelessness and command you to be cast into the pit.

I speak life to those who are under the sentence of death from cancer. I speak strength and comfort to the families and supporters who walk this journey with them. Send a refreshing wind of hope and faith. Be a very present help in time of trouble. Be our healer. Be our God.

Show us how to use these weapons

Holy Spirit, use me as your intercessor.  Search the heart of the Father and pray through me prayers that are effective and accomplish His divine will and purpose.

Lord, teach us to bind and loose.  Holy Spirit, be our tutor.  Equip us with this powerful tool and show us how to wield it effectively.   Educate us in our authority and temper that knowledge with humility and submission to your guidance.  Show us how to please you in prayer, warfare, and intercession.  We ask for a deeper revelation of your word in using this weapon of warfare. 

Take us deeper.  Expand our territory and authority in prayer.  Use us and improve us.  Lord, let the two-edged sword of the word in our mouth be honed like a surgical instrument and wielded like a “smart” weapon.  Show us effective techniques in prayer. 

Raise up an army of effective intercessors who will do battle against cancer;  Who will press for cleansing of corruption in our government, our military, our educational institutions and our churches;  Who will do battle for the lost souls who are bound in the Kingdom of darkness;  Who will seek your will and see it manifested through prayer.  Lord, teach us to pray.

Get the junk out

Father, in everything I think and do and say; let my motives be pure, my attitudes right and my priorities in order.  Help me to fulfill all the potential you've placed within me.

Search all my deep and hidden parts.  Cleanse every part of me.  Remove every root and seed of bitterness and unforgiveness.   I give you permission to unlock every door and shine your search light in every dark and secreted place.  Lord, I need a spring cleaning.  Clean sweep and bleach scrub until I shine with your reflected glory.

I surrender my right to be offended.  I forgive every offense.  I surrender my right to judge.  Forgive my judgmental knee-jerk responses and change me right from the source that causes them.  Heal the deep hurts and keep me from hurting others.  Strengthen me in the places where I am morally weak.  Remove every choking thorn that inhibits the growth of your word and the development of spiritual fruits.

Forgive my lack of discipline and strength.  Cause the fruits of faithfulness to be evident and abundant.  Remove my fear and hesitation to ask for patience and long-suffering.  I want all you have for me.  I know that your blessings make us rich and add no sorrow with it.  I trust you with the schedule of my development and your choice of the course I must take to produce the “ME” that you want me to be.  My life is yours.  Completely.

House Oversight Committee to find truth

Holy Spirit, use me as your intercessor today.  Pray through me the things on your priority list.  Embrace me until I know your heart beat. 

Lord, I pray for the House Oversight Committee.  Help them to ask the right questions.  Arm them with questions that get right to the source.  Overcome political and personal agendas and let the undeniable, untainted, un-spun truth be revealed.   I call forth truth in Jesus’ name.  I pray that you would unmask deception and protect the innocent.  Help us, Lord.  Be Lord of our Congress and Chief Chair of this committee. 

Father, I pray that you would purge the corruption born in greed and malice from every level of our government.  Fill each position with servant-hearted, capable people of integrity. Purge out those who just simply can't do the job and fill their positions with competent, faithful, and hard working servants.  

Remove the unworthy from seats of power in our government, our military, our media and our educational institutions.  Let your Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, reign through those whom you have placed in positions of authority and influence.  Support the righteous as they stand for truth.  Give them favor with the people and the press. 

Let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Renew zeal for ministry

Lord, forgive my prayerlessness.  Forgive me for caving in under pressure and pain when I should be standing in faith and doing battle with your word.

Lord, I need you to renew my zeal and passion for ministry.  Help me to carefully sort through the things on my to do list; help me to clearly identify the things that you’ve assigned to me and to disentangle myself from everything else.  Clarify my vision and single my focus.  Help me, Lord. Pour a new passion into my life for the things that you have commissioned me to do.  Remove the dead weight of every other distraction that is sucking the strength out of me.  Clean house, God.  Do a clean sweep through my life until all that is left is exactly what you want there.

Renew, my vision for ministry.  Show me again what your intent and purpose is.  Reveal your heart and your desire.  Make me over to be like you.    

Show me the areas of my ministry that I’m trying to do in my own strength.  Help me to prayerfully place them in your able hands and let them go in faith.  Show me the areas where I’ve missed it.  Redirect me.  Instruct me again.  Clean up my mess and bring it right.  Replace the duty and drudgery with fiery fervor and passionate craving to please and honor you.

Saturate my life and each area of my ministry with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and your enabling grace. 

Father, heal me and give me the physical strength to accomplish my spiritual missions.  In Jesus’ name.

Protection for intercessors

Inspire and encourage us to pray.  Let this time with you be an addictive pleasure and source of abundant life.    Flow through us to accomplish your will and bring your kingdom reign into this world today. 

Thank you, Lord, for humble heroes who have set the bar high.  Thank you for saints who have laid the foundational examples of what a prayer life can be and what we can accomplish through prayer.  Lord, raise up another generation with great intercessors like Andrew Murray, Reese Howell, Brother Lawrence, Watchman Nee and David Yonggi Cho.  Raise up intercessors who will change nations and the course of history. 

Protect your intercessors from the attacks of the enemy.  Be their shield and strong tower.  Protect and defend those who fall on their knees to serve you in prayer.  Cover them with your glory and refresh them as they grow weary.  Bless your intercessors and reward them richly.

Holy Spirit, fill us with the gifts of discernment, wisdom and knowledge.  Teach us to pray directly at the source.  Cause our prayers to be effectual and fervent.

Father, would you ward off the distractions and interfering elements that tug us away from your presence.  Give us a singleness of heart and mind that is center around you.  Help us to be focused on you alone.

Right here - right now

So many doors.  Lord, these choices are too important to treat them like a game show.  I need your direction.  I will not open another door until you speak.  I will not start another ministry or project, I will not commit my time to anyone else unless you specifically direct it.

Help me.  Father, I pray for discernment between the things that are “good” and the things specifically directed by you.  You created time – I know you can teach me how to manage it.  Lord, I don’t want to just manage time.  I desire to learn how you flow through time.  Teach me.  Show me how to make time my servant and aide me in my service to you.

Holy Spirit, I ask for a revelation and vision of what you want to do in this congregation, in this ministry, at this time.  I desire to be in sync with you and your plan.  I need you to give clarity and detailed direction.  Show us the big picture first.  Open our eyes to see the things you really want to do right here and right now.  Then show us exactly what our part is in your plan. 

Father, send the wind of the Holy Spirit to refresh and invigorate us.  Get our attention with your sweet fragrance.  Help us to breathe deep and be renewed. 

Lord open a fountain of life within each of us.  Lord, we want to go past “looking for someone else’s  river” and open up the well you’ve placed inside each of us.  Cause us to be the fountain head through which you refresh others.  Let the rivers of living water flow out from our bellies.  Spring up, O well, within my soul.

Take over everything

Lord, we ask for wisdom and direction.  Show us what you want to accomplish through our Open Heaven Summit.  Whatever you want, Lord, just meet us there.  We desire you.  We need you.  Your presence is what we seek.  Manifest your presence any way you like – just let us be there with you.  We lay aside our preconceived ideas of what revival should look like.  Cleanse us of religious mindsets.  Surprise us with the freshness of what you desire to do in this new season. 

It is you we seek.  Shatter our limited expectations with more than we could ask or imagine.  More of you.  More of your grace.  More of your mercy.  More of your love. 

Let our hunger for you be contagious among our congregation.  Let excitement and hope spring from heart to heart as your presence fills the sanctuary.  Let your glory be the magnet that draws your people. 

It is you we adore.  It is you we seek. Come, Lord.

Fill us with your love until it overflows and causes our “secular life” to be united with our walk with you.  Remove the division of self that compartmentalizes you to only the “church box” of our experience.  Fill all of our lives.  Take over everything that is in all our other categories and cause us to be single-minded and clearly focused.  Make us one with you.  

Train us to recognize your voice

Thank you for the warmth of your presence.  You are the great and mighty God and worthy of all praise and honor.  I worship you. 

Help me Lord, to be sensitive to your voice and responsive to your call.  Teach me to be a ready servant. 

Show me how to be effective in prayer.  Teach me how to release my faith when it’s time to speak to the mountain, bind and loose, tear down strongholds, and pray the word.  Teach me to pray the fragrant prayers that please you and accomplish your purpose.

Help me to switch my focus from self-centeredness to Christ-centeredness.  I choose to put away all of my “stuff” and turn my attention to you, Lord.  Swallow up my little world in the vastness of you.  Absorb me into your essence and help me to abide there.  I want to be where you are, to walk where you walk, to see through your eyes and to know your heart. 

How can I serve you in prayer today?  What needs to be spoken?  What do you want to accomplish?  How can I partner in agreement with you?

_That my people would know my voice._

“…and his sheep follow him: for they know his voice.”  John 10:4b

Lord, I pray that your people – your sheep – would know and recognize your voice.  Help us Lord, to silence the confusion and distractions of everyday life so we can tune our ears to hear your voice alone.  Help us to be so familiar with the sound of your voice that we know it intimately.  Help us to identify you with certainty.  Protect us from those who would impersonate or imitate you and lead us away from your path and protection.  Let us know your voice.   

Lord, when your voice thunders from the clouds and you utter your voice before your armies, help us not to quake and be paralyzed with fear – cause us to rise to the battle cry.  Help us not to run and hide from the sound of your voice as Adam did, but rather cause us to run to your embrace like the prodigal son.

Father, help us to be so submerged in your word that we are actually “of the truth” – that your word is in us to the point of becoming an integral part of our being.  Let the truth within us resonate with the sound of your voice like a tuning fork.  Put us on the same wave length.  Tune us to the right/true frequency.  We long to hear you clearly, Lord.

Roar, Lion of Judah

In times like these my cry for help is worship.  I cry out my total dependence on you.  You are my source, my Father, my deliverer and healer.  All that I am and all that I have I lay in a broken heap at your feet.  Consume this humble sacrifice so I can start over.  Baptize me in your loving-kindness.  Immerse me in your river of life until I am clean, refreshed and new.  Help me.  Be my God. 

Now that I am emptied of all my “stuff” – I invite you Holy Spirit to come and inhabit this earth-suit.  Pray through me, Holy Spirit.

Lord, I pray for those who are on the front-lines and invading the kingdom of darkness.  Let your word be a ready weapon in their mouths.  Be their shield and protection.  Reveal the plots and tactics of the enemy against them.  Forearm and prepare them for whatever lay ahead.  Fight for them, Lord.  Give them evangelistic strategy and a harvest of souls. 

Roar, Lion of Judah.  Roar until our enemy quakes in feeble surrender.  Roar until the chains fall from the captives.  Roar until the facades of man’s laws and policies fall like the walls of Jericho.  Roar until the chains of addictions fall off.  Roar until cancer shrivels and dies.  Roar until the intimidators cower in fear.  Roar, Lion of Judah!  Roar out your fierce war cry until it becomes our sound of triumph.  Roar until we dance in victory. The kingdom, the power and the glory are yours forever and ever.  AMEN – So be it.

Freedom from pain

Lord, I give you my clock, my calendar, my agenda, my days and my nights.  I lay them at your feet in total surrender.  You have complete access and may interrupt, rearrange, reorder and use them any way you like.  I am yours.  You are my Lord.  I worship you with all that I am and all that I have.

Holy Spirit use me as your intercessor.  What is on your prayer list today?  Show me how to be effective in prayer. 

Jesus, I take the seat that you have provided for me in heavenly places.  Thank you for the privilege and honor of using your name.  You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and I worship you with all my heart. 

Father, I pray for all that suffer from physical pain.  Be our healer and deliverer. 

In the name of Jesus, I take authority over every spirit of infirmity that has been assigned against your people.  I cancel those assignments and break the grip of pain in Jesus’ name.

Father, I pray that you would go right to the source of whatever is causing pain and fix it.  Remove the cause.  Fix the problem.  Show us how to prevent the enemy from having access in these areas.  Change us and deliver us. 

Lord, we ask for gifts of healing for cancer, arthritis, fibromyalgia and all other painful maladies.   Cleanse us from these ailments, injuries, syndromes and diseases.  Change us Lord, and cause us to walk in divine health and wellness.  Heal us, Lord. 

We lay hold of every benefit of the atonement – in Jesus’ name.  SO BE IT!  AMEN!

Work from that abiding place

He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 NKJV

Father, I pray that through these Open Heaven Summit meetings that you would stir a hunger in your people for your presence. Bring us to that place where we experience a deeper level of abiding in you. We want more. We need more.

Help us to get our priorities in order. Show us how to work from that abiding place. Give us fruit that remains. We acknowledge total dependence on you. There is no success or fruitfulness apart from you. Root us deeper in your anointing. Cause us to be nurtured from the deep springs.

Show us how to walk in your presence day in and day out. Show us how to abide in you as we work and fulfill the demands on our lives. Teach us how to live abiding.
Show us the treasures and pleasures of your secret places. Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that our homes cannot contain. Shower us with Heaven’s best blessings.

Help us to find healing, rest, answers, breakthroughs, forgiveness, strength, revelation and direction in your presence. Meet us there. You are our source and our supply. You alone have the words of life. You are our only source. Be God to us and in us.

Holy Spirit, pray through me for this Open Heaven Summit.

Lord, you’ve said through specific prophetic words to our congregation that you had put your name in this place. I know that was a significant promise and I “bring it to your remembrance” again.

2 Chron 7:16-17 “For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”

Turn your eyes and heart to this house again. Meet with us. Abide with us. Sanctify this house again. Establish it as your perpetual dwelling place. Let your train fill this sanctuary.

Come and heal us. Come and reveal yourself and your word to us. We invite you to meet with us at this appointed time. Flood us with a special manifestation of your holiness and presence. Let your glory fill our house. Come, Lord, we invite you.

Protect and Enable

Lord, I love you. I worship the beauty of your holiness. You are the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and Blessed Controller of all things. I worship you alone. You alone are God. There is none beside you. You are my creator. You are my healer. My hope of heaven and salvation rests in you alone. All that I am and all that I have, I lay at your feet in loving sacrifice. I honor you with my life.

Embrace me and consume me, Lord. Absorb me into your presence and essence. Let me be one with you. Let me hear your heart beat.

Lord, we cry out for wisdom. Silence foolish babbling and arrogant assertions that are spoken out all over this country. Strip us of imprudent pride and cause us to kneel at your feet and crave your holy covering. God, we need you.

Father, I ask for divine enablement for our law enforcement agencies. Reveal to them every secret plot of our enemies. Point the way. Give them insight and intuitive direction. Lead them to the key people and places where they can most effectively deal with those who would harm us. Keep us safe.

Lord, I ask for a preparedness in our armed forces. Remove every evil element. Remove the inept and the politically driven and replace them with faithful and able servants. Bring leaders of honor and integrity to the forefront of every branch of our military. Let your kingdom come and your will be done in our military as it is in heaven.

Father, I pray that your heavenly hosts and warring angels would be assigned alongside our law enforcement and military officers. Release them to intervene and take action on our behalf. Cause them to enforce your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

Lord, send ciaos into our enemies ranks. Confound their leaders and cause them to war against each other. Disorganize their organizations. Bankrupt their treasury. Destroy their structure and crumble their walls of control over their innocent people.

Lord, be the light to shine in their darkness. Lead the blameless out of that darkness and show them the way to freedom in you. Unmask every lie and replace it with your stable and unchanging truth. Set them truly free.

Bless your servants who labor among the enemy camps. Give them favor and protect them from persecution. Be their shield and strong tower. Give them a harvest of souls for their labor.

Holy Spirit, cause the prayer of agreement to echo throughout heaven and earth. Rise up your intercessors to do battle against our enemies and to call in a timely harvest of souls for your kingdom.

Father, I pray that you would draw to this blog intercessors who will stand in faith and agree with these prayers. Lord, bring together:

Protect and Cleanse

Lord, I need rest. The kind that only comes from you. I choose now to step into your presence and find it. All issues with my health, my family, my ministry and even training these puppies – I lay it all at your feet. Take it all. I can’t fix any of it on my own anyway. I confess total dependence on you. Be my God. Help me.

I empty my “self-suit” of me – come Holy Spirit and wear this “self-suit” all day. Walk in my skin. Put me on like a coat and walk out your agenda today. As this mouth opens, speak out your will in prayer.

Lord, I pray for blessings upon your people as they gather in your house today. Meet them there. Let your glory fill each sanctuary. Fill each pulpit with a word of truth.

Father, I ask for protection. In the name of Jesus, I spoil every plot of terror against your people as they worship and gather in your name. Be our shield and protection. Release your ministering spirits with permission to intervene on our behalf. Rise up, O Lord, and demonstrate your power. Make a show of your enemy openly with video highlights. Show the world your hand at work for your people. I declare to the enemy camp – “Touch not the Lord’s anointed!”

Fill every pulpit with a word of truth that will make us free. Flood this land with truth. Wash away deception and false teachings. Wash away corruption and unrighteousness. Cleanse your church. Scour us with wisdom and understanding. Bleach us with stain removing grace. Heal the wounds caused by misapplication of your word. Let your church rise up as a glorious bride – perfectly groomed and adorned. Beautiful your church with the beauty of holiness.

Father, let the truth of your word come from every pulpit – served with Your love, compassion and wisdom. Lead the leaders. Guide the shepherds. Clarify to each pastor exactly how to deal with the difficult issues of abortion, divorce, homosexuality, addictions, mental illnesses and health crises. You are a big God with big answers. Lead us. Direct us. Love your people through us.

Of all the options before me for today, this time alone with you is the only appealing one.  Father, take control of this day.  I give you my time, my calendar, my schedule and my agenda.  Help me to rise to the challenges of things I don’t want to do.  Help me to put the stress of the undone things behind me and checked off the to-do-list that makes my shoulders sag.  I’m drowning when I should be walking on water.  Take my hand and let me walk up there with you where it’s safe and dry.
 

Holy Spirit, I push away all my own “stuff” and empty myself before you.  Use me as your intercessor.  Fill me with your love and compassion for those in need.  Help me to touch them in prayer and in practical ways. 

Lord, I pray for those who face the challenge of cancer.  I lift up my personal friend, those within my family, those within my circles and all those that you love.  Deliver us from the ravages of cancer.  Heal us. 

In the name of Jesus, I take control of our health care out of the hands of drug companies, insurance companies, legislators and doctors – and I give it all to you.  You created us.  You know best how to fix us.  Use these other entities as your tools under your controlling hand.  Make a way where there is no way.  Bring us victory over cancer now, in Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit, I ask you to raise up a powerful army of serious, intentional intercessors who will do battle against cancer.  Call out your special forces.  Empower them with divine faith.  Give them the tactical strategy to be swift and effective. 

Lord, change the things about our culture, our diet, our atmosphere and other factors that cause cancer.  Bring us back in line with your divine and healthy design.   Fix the source.  Stop the cancer.  In Jesus’ name we pray and agree.

We lay hold of the promise of abundant  life in Christ Jesus.  Teach us to walk in what you've already provided.  Help us to do what we already know and to learn the important things we are missing.

Fill us with anticipation of victorious testimonies.  Help us to witness the manifestation of your healing power. 

We worship you, our Creator and Healer.  There is none like you.

Change me

Lord, I’m so grateful for your love that just keeps pouring out whether I’ve deserved it or not.  This certainly isn’t one of those moments when I might think I’ve earned your love or blessings.  This is the time when I just fall at your feet and ask for mercy. 

Help me.  Change me.  This is not who I want to be.  Lord, I’m asking you to go to the very core of my being – body, soul and spirit – and change me.  Help me to yield to your working and shaping me.  Help me not to resist your correction. 

Renew my mind, Lord.  I “take captive” every thought and subject each one of them to your approval. 

Help me to stay so close to you that I become absorbed in your presence. 

I draw upon all of the benefits of our covenant of salvation.  Forgive my sins.  Strengthen these places where I am so weak.  Be the author of the desires of my heart, Lord.  Birth in me a resolve to do only what pleases you.

Give me the discernment to know when I should take authority over the enemy, and when I should take authority over my flesh.  Be my deliverer in both, Lord.  Set me free.

Lord of the Harvest

Father, in everything I think and do and say; let my motives be pure, my attitudes right, and my priorities in order.  Help me to fulfill all the potential you've placed within me.  Cause my life to bring a good return on your investments of fruit and gifts. 

Father, I press into your presence and lay my clock, my calendar, my projects, my ministry, my family, all that I have and all that I am at your feet. 

“Take my life and let it be, consecrated Lord, to thee.” 

Come Holy Spirit, use me as your intercessor.  Search the heart of the Father and use me to call forth His will in prayer.  Almighty God, rise up in me and speak out your will and purpose.  I agree with your heart.  Let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth, in my world, as it is in heaven.  Reign through me. 

Lord, send laborers into this present harvest of souls.  You are Lord of the harvest.  It belongs to you and its in-gathering is under your direction.  Give us the harvesting tools with cutting edge ability and skilled laborers to use them.  Strengthen us.  Teach us to work smart and labor with resolve.  Show us how to work at what you are blessing and then, Lord, bless our work.  Raise up a generation of laborers who know how to lean into your strength and ability; who understand the vital step of total surrender to your working through us. Help us to get it right – right from the start.

Father, I pray for teachers who will rise up and train disciples in the foundational truth of serving you.  Show them how to lay a well structured foundation that others can build upon.  Shift our focus away from the trivial and back to the truth.  Drill us in the basics until we get it right.  Holy Spirit, teach us to be effective teachers. 

Father, I pray for evangelists who are filled with your heart for the lost.  Teach them to be effective and give them fruit that will remain.  Lord, we ask for totally converted, radically changed, new creatures in Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit, I pray that you would rally your worldwide network of intercessors.  Help us to cry out in unison for the things the Father desires.  Lead us into one accord and harmony as our prayers ring out.  Bless those who labor in prayer.

Thank you for the privilege of praying in Jesus’ name.  We use that name with honor and respect.  In faith we wield its power.  In Jesus’ name – so be it. 

Meditation on Jehovah

Jehovah-Jireh “The Lord will provide a sacrifice” Gen 22:13

Thank you, Lord, for Calvary.  Thank you for dying in my place.  Thank you for paying the price for all that I owed.  I worship you, Lamb of God. 

Thank you, Father, for always making provision for me.  Thank you for sending your son to be the ultimate sacrifice for my sin and paving the path to eternal life.

Jehovah-Rapha “The Lord that healeth thee”  Ex 15:26

Healing is in you alone.  I worship you, Creator God.  You made me.  You know every cell of my structure.  Father, heal me completely.  As I wait in your presence – let your healing virtue saturate me and correct every ailment.  Deliver me from this pain and misery.  Cause this flesh to line up with your perfect design.  Help me to be so close to you that your perfection is manifested in my flesh.  Heal me.  I claim all the privileges of the atonement, in Jesus’ name.

Help me, Lord, to understand the mystery of your ability to be present everywhere at once.  You are so far above what I comprehend.  Lord, I want to know you on that level.  Lord, I want to have a fuller understanding of who you are and where you walk.  Show me your ways, o Lord, teach me your paths.  Lead me in your truth and teach me.  You are the God of my salvation on you I will wait all the day (ps 25)  Lord, I want to walk with you like Adam and Eve did in the garden.  To see you as you are and understand your ways.  Take me there, Lord.  I feel so tethered to this realm of limits and painful realities.  Set me free. 

Jehovah-Shalom “The Lord our peace” Judges 6:24

Fill me with your peace, Father.  Fill me with you.  Give me that peace that goes beyond understanding.  Lord, let your peace be the hallmark and icon of my life.  Lord, let the peace within me be so deep and rich that my children and grandchildren will drink from it as a refreshing well.  Let peace fill me and radiate out from me to effect every person and situation I come in contact with.  Jehovah-Shalom, live within me and absorb me into your everlasting life.

Cause me to walk in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.  May the banner of “Christian” that is planted by my life never be put to shame by my behavior or choices. 

Help me to follow your banner into the battles before us.  Where you lead I will follow.  Thank you for the victories past, present and future.  Thank you for leading and fighting for us.

Your tender care nourishes me and shelters me.  I worship you, my shepherd.  You are the Divine Caregiver.  I submit to your care, O Shepherd of my soul.

I am so grateful that righteousness doesn’t depend on me.  Thank you for erasing my sins, correcting my iniquities, strengthening my weaknesses and filling the void with your righteous perfection.  I stand complete and justified in you.  I worship you.  You are my God, and I receive you and surrender to every change that you desire to make in me. 

Lord, deepen my meditations.  Change me to be more like you.  Come, Holy Spirit.  Fill all of me.  I desire you more than anything.

I choose now to set aside every other demand on my attention and focus all my love and worship on you, Lord.  I love you.  I truly, deeply love you.  I want to please you today.  I want to yield to you and be your agent in this realm. 

Flow through me, Holy Spirit.  Use me as your intercessor.  Accomplish the will of the Father through my prayers today.  Come, Holy Spirit.

Order my day.  Cause me to be your hand extended to everyone I touch.  Saturate me so thoroughly in your love that it oozes out of me and onto others all day long.

Lord, I ask for a fresh vision of what you want to do in our ministry.  Clarify the dreams and plans.  Define for me which parts are mine and which parts are all you.  Help me to be organized and effective.  Bless the work of my hands.  Lord, I’m watching and listening.  …..

Now that I have a better sense of where we’re going, I need your enablement.  Lord, you know I have limited experience, knowledge and resources… but, I trust you.  Teach me how.  Enable me.  Educate me.  Organize my time and efforts.  Help me to see these things through to fulfillment. 

Lord, supply the right tools for the job.  Show me how to make the most of the resources you are placing in my hands.  Help me to “work smart” and not waste time and energy on things that are going nowhere.  Send me teachers and tutors who will point me in the right direction.  I receive teachers as a gift from you. 

Be in control of my clock and my calendar.  Help me to make a plan for this work and then work the plan with discipline.  Help me to get this done.  Lord, I pray for fruit in this ministry that will remain and bring you glory.  I lay both the plans and the accomplishments at your feet.  You are my God and my life.  I love you and surrender everything utterly into your control.

Lord, I ask that the fruits of the spirit will manifest in my work.  More of you and less of me in all that I do.

How to pray over work and ministry

Lord, I’m tired of feeling stupid.  I need you to rewire my brain so I can get this! 

Father, the challenges of the technical side of this new area of ministry is a struggle.  Once again I acknowledge total dependence on you and ask for help.  Lord, rewire my brain so I can get this.  Help me to understand the foundations and sort out the platforms and make sense of all of it.  Hold my hand.  Be my tutor.  Help me.

Thank you for what I’ve already learned.  Help me to stay positive.  Lord, I ask for the right tools for the tasks at hand.  Help me to fully utilize the things you’ve already given me.  Show me.  Lead me.  Help me when I’m stuck.  You are the “all knowing” God.  I need to know a bit more of what you know.  Fill me with the confidence of your presence and guidance as I move forward.  Help me to stay focused and make progress.  Manifest the fruits and the gifts of the Spirit in this practical area of my life.  Lead me in your truth and teach me. 

Father, I ask for strength and tenacity.  Encourage me and reassure me that I’m on the right path.  Lord, I ask that I’ll not “just get by” or “survive”; lord, help me to be fruitful in this and raise my work to a level of excellence that will truly please you and bring glory to your name.  Anoint me for this work.  Get me through this level of struggle and bring me to a place of mastery.  Be my very present help in time of trouble.  Help me to dial down my whiny attitude and amp up my faith. 

Lord, thank you for the opportunity to serve you in organizing these upcoming programs.  Holy Spirit, I ask you to lead me in every step and detail.  I need you.  I lean into you and ask for direction.  Lord, lay it all out – from the mission statement to the clean up crew’s job description.  Put it all in place.  Father, I ask for workers who will serve with faithfulness and excellence.  Lord, stir the hearts of your workers and place within them an excitement and anticipation for what these events can accomplish.  Motivate us.  Direct us.  Use us for your glory.  Clarify your purposes. 

Father, I pray for leaders and co-workers who will work these ministries with us.  Fill the gaps with faithful, capable, anointed and appointed brothers and sisters who will lock arms with us.  Give us a task force that will work in one accord.  Help us to lay out a vision and plan that everyone can run with.  Help us to move this ministry forward together as a well oiled machine.  Saturate us with your anointing.

I surrender control of this day to you.  Take my life.  Use me as your instrument of intercession.  I give you full control. 

I worship you from the deepest part of my heart and spirit.  I love you on purpose.  You are my God and I am completely yours.  All that I am and all that I have, lay at your feet as a love offering. 

Holy Spirit, pray through me to accomplish the will of the Father today. 

Father, we pray for breakthrough in the lives of those who are discouraged and spent.  Baptize them in a fresh fountain of faith and lift their hearts and heads in worship.  Lift up the hands that hang down.  Give hope and help.  Be a very present help in time of trouble.  Bring a close to the season of longsuffering.  Accomplish your will, teach your lesson, produce the fruit and help them to move on to a new season.  In the name of Jesus we remove every obstacle that holds back answers.  We tear down every stronghold of the enemy and destroy his effectiveness and plots against us, in Jesus’ name.  Release your ministering spirits to assist and bring about the needed breakthrough.  Help us Lord.  Your eye is on the sparrow and we know we are not forgotten. 

Father, we pray that you would Open the Heavens and pour out abundant blessings on our missionaries as they prepare to return to the field.  Lord, you see their need for monthly support.  Supply that need.  Show us how to help them.  Open Heaven and open doors of opportunity and support for them.  Lord we place this request in your hands with the confidence that it is your will.  We agree with your will, in Jesus’ name. 

Lord, give us practical direction in how to raise this support.  Show us your plan. 

Bless Brett as he prepares to minister at the Open Heaven Summit.  Encourage him and remind him that you are at work.  Give him a specific word for that hour that will empower your people.  Flow through him in the gifts of the Spirit and use him mightily to minister to your people. 

We wait with expectation and believe you for healings, deliverance, answers, direction, revelation and empowerment in your presence.  Bless us.  We are hungry and desperate for your blessings.  Only you can satisfy.  You alone are God.  

Embrace us and change us

Nothing is more important than being in your presence.  Lord, give us a deep revelation of the value of being there – at your feet, in your embrace, saturated and impregnated with your love.  Renew the romance and stir the passion for you.  Give us a taste – whet our appetites, give us a thirst and hunger that can only be satisfied in your presence.  Open Heaven and invite us in. 

Father, we thank you for all that you are doing.  We are so grateful for your provision and direction.  Thank you for leading us down the right road – the narrow way – and being our constant companion on this journey. 

Father, we pray for Brett Ransom and for Margaret Cox as they prepare to minister at the Open Heaven Summit and the Women’s retreat.  Open Heaven for them as they study and prepare.  Give them the word for the hour and the passion for your people that they will be ministering to.  Speak to us through them.  Marinate them in your anointing and power so that when they stand to minister the fullness of your glory will be seen in them.  Use them mightily and help us to receive all that they are preparing for us.

Lord, I pray that you will draw many more of our fellowship into the “Not a Fan” journey.  Help us to walk this road together as a body of believers and get the most out of what you have set before us.  Make it real.  Give us a tangible experience with you that will change us forever. 

Let your glory be manifested among us.  Release a huge flood of love and grace.  Make it so real. 

Release a flood tide of healing virtue.  Heal us all.  Cleanse us from every sickness, disease, malady, iniquity and distress that the world and the enemy has laid on us.  Cleanse us from the poor choices we have made that have corrupted us in body, soul and spirit.  Heal us all.  Change us to be like you.  Conform us completely to your divine and perfect design. 

Clarify direction, Lord.  Show us the hindrances to receiving answers to prayer and fulfillment of your promises.  Help us to aggressively and systematically remove those hindrances until we see the breakthrough to all that you have prepared and promised to us.  Help us.  Lead us.  Strengthen us for and in the process. 

We acknowledge total dependence on you.  God, you are our source.  We worship you.  Be glorified in our lives.

Father, in everything we think and do and say; let our motives be pure, our attitudes right and our priorities in order.  Help us to fulfill all the potential you’ve placed within us.  In Jesus’ name we pray.

Lord, I pray for all those right now who are considering abortion.  Lord, I plead for the life of the unborn.  Spare them.  Intervene and open doors of choices for life.  Go to the source of the problem in our culture that creates these situations of unwanted pregnancies.  Stop the torrential tide of unfettered lust in our culture.  Change us, Lord.  Show us a better way.  Educate and steer this generation and the next to value what you value. 

Lord, be in control of my time and schedule today.  I take authority over pain and declare that I will not be controlled by it nor will it dictate my accomplishments today.  I am free in Jesus’ name.  

Rise to the challenge of prayer

Help me to rise to the challenge of prayer.  Lord, anoint me and encourage me in prayer ministry.  Flow through me with an addiction to your presence and anointing.  Stir in me a hunger and a thirst until my spirit demands what my flesh resists.  Use me as your intercessor today. 

Father, I pray for the upcoming Open Heaven Summit.  Meet us there, Lord.  Draw in those who are ordained for this divine appointment with you.  Lord, take control of all of the preparations.  Spread the invitation far and wide.  Call and draw those whom you desire.  Refresh us in your spirit.  Renew us in your presence.

Lord, I pray for the worship team.  Bless and anoint them to lead us in worship.  Father, I pray for increased ability and availability.  Lord, bless their lives and order their days so they will stand prepared for ministry and rested and refreshed in you.  Lord, we ask for quality instruments – gifts from you.  Lord, we need a better piano.  Lord, help us with the development of the sound system.  Father, enhance and increase the talents you’ve invested in our musicians.  Help them to grow and learn and refine their abilities.  Help them to play skillfully with the Davidic ability.  Teach them better techniques on their instruments and how to flow more freely in your leading.  Lord, raise up psalmist and minstrels.  Father, bless our singers with clear strong voices and beautiful harmonies.  Sing through them Holy Spirit.  Bless our sound and tech people and their equipment.  Help us to rise to the next level in ability and anointing.  Improve the quality of our worship to glorify your name.  Let the sound of heaven resound in our worship.  Help us to be in tune with the moving and direction of the Holy Spirit.  Show us which wave of anointing you want us to ride. 

Lord, help us to mentor the next generation of worship leaders.  Teach our children to worship you in spirit and in truth.  Develop their musical abilities and give them a desire to surrender those talents to you.

Father, prepare the word for the Open Heaven Summit.  Prepare our hearts to receive it as good seed in good ground.  Give us a hundred fold harvest from the planting of your word at this summit.  We ask for fresh revelation and truth that makes us free. 

Come Holy Spirit.  Open Heaven and meet with us there.

Lord, focus my thinking and center my spirit in your presence.  I worship you and press into your holy place.  I need to be with you.  You are my source – the fountain for which I thirst.  Only you can satisfy.  Take me with you, Father.  Let me walk where you walk and listen as you talk. 

Sweep away the distractions and help me to concentrate on you alone.  Let me look through your eyes, and feel what your heart feels.  I find no desperation or discouragement in you.  Only peace.  Lord, let that sweet peace saturate me until it oozes out of every fiber of my being and cell of my body.

Heal me completely and strengthen me for the task at hand and the journey ahead.  I need you. I depend on you.  

Fix us

Lord, I open my heart in worship and press into your holy place.  Open heaven and allow me to be seated in those heavenly places with Christ Jesus.  I know you have made the position and the provision already – now help me to step into it and be seated there.  I know that if I am in that position in your presence that my petitions will be heard.  I choose to release my faith right now in Jesus’ name. 

Father, for this moment I choose to unzip this coat of humanity, to shake off tiredness, pain and discouragement; and step unfettered into your loving kindness and new mercy.

Father, in everything I think and do and say; let my motives be pure, my attitudes right and my priorities in order.  Help me to fulfill all the potential you’ve placed within me.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Lord, forgive me for grumbling about the new things I have to learn.  Thank you for stretching me and causing me to grow.  I am totally dependent on you to be my divine tutor. 

Father, we pray for the Open Heaven Summit.  We ask for divine appointments and for direction.  Show us your glory.  Lead us into all truth.  Lead us into the deep end of your love.  Saturate us with your good gifts and blessings.  Meet us there.

Lord, we ask for answers to prayer.  We ask for direction.  We ask for increased manifestation of your presence and power among us.  Glorify yourself in us, Lord.  Unify your people in the common place of your divine company.  Give us the unity that you can bless and flow through.

Help us to raise up as an army of intercessory and speak with one voice to ask you for breakthrough in healings, deliverance, direction and answers.  Be the solution and answer to every problem. 

Bless our worship.  Father, I pray for increase in musical talent, in tech abilities, in equipment and instruments, and in zeal for worship.  Let the praise ring forth from our sanctuary with skill and beauty.  Sanctify and anoint our worship team.  Baptism them with a fresh anointing to lead us into your throne room. 

Help us to be lost in your presence until answers are found. 

Lord, use me as your intercessor today. 

Father, bring to justice those who are lawless and protect the innocent.  Father, I pray that you would strengthen our resolve to protect the innocent.  Lord, raise up righteous people in our law enforcement services.  Raise up those who love justice and know how to work the system with good moral judgment and who are not corruptible.  Place our safety in the hands of leaders with integrity. 

Lord, show us how to untangle the problems within our culture without hanging ourselves.  Point us in the right direction and monitor every step – keep us from hurting one another as we correct our major dysfunctions.  Help us to correct at the source.  Help us not to waste time and effort working on symptoms.  Give us an accurate diagnosis of the source of each problem.  Give us a plan of action that will be targeted and precise.  Fix us, Lord.  Help us and Heal us.  In Jesus’ name I pray.

Battle against cancer

Thank you for life.  You are the author, the creator, and the sustainer of life and I worship you with all my being.  Every cell, every nano-speck of me – all that I am and all that I have bows before you in worship and total submission to your love and rule. All that “I am” – this little insignificant  “I am” – is lost within the vastness of the “Great I am”.  You alone are my God.  I am complete in you.

Lord, how can I serve you in prayer today?  Where is the gap that I should stand in?  What should I focus my prayer efforts on today?  Lead me Holy Spirit.  Be my shield and strong tower as I do battle for you.  Protect me and guard all that is precious to me.  Guard my family and my home and my fellowship.  Protect your warriors and lead us to victory in intercession and warfare.

I take authority over intimidation in Jesus’ name.  The Great I Am within me overcomes the world and the kingdoms of this world, and the kingdom of darkness.  I stand immoveable in you. 

Sickness and disease you are under my feet.  I tread on serpents and scorpions in the name of Jesus.  Death – I confront you with the divine life of Christ and the truth of the word.  You do not reign here.  Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  You, O God, are the breath and blood – the very source of life.  You, O God, hold the keys of death, hell and the grave.  You are the resurrection and the life.

Lord, let your healing virtue flow in a flood of loving kindness over your people.  Heal us.  Bring our bodies into order with your divine design.  Redeem us.  Restructure our very DNA to line up with your divine design.  Cause us to walk in health.  Strengthen our weaknesses.  Cleanse and purify us completely.  Help us to shake off the corruption and impurities of this world and walk in the benefits of your kingdom.  Give us your health care plan. 

I take authority over cancer.  I rebuke tumors and every cancerous cell.  I curse the root and seed of cancer and command every spirit of cancer to cease in their assignments against the people of God.

Holy Spirit, I pray that you would rally and army of intercessors to do battle against cancer.  May we cry with one voice against this enemy and see it defeated now in Jesus’ name.  Multiply our numbers, strengthen our faith, sharpen our weapons of warfare and bring us a swift victory over this enemy.  Let our battle cries echo though the Kingdom of Heaven and through the kingdom of darkness.  Let your praises ring out in victory over this enemy.  Like the dust turned to lice – it is cell size but many.  We claim victory over this plague.  Jehovah God delivers us again just as He redeemed his people and spared them from the plagues of Egypt.  Cancerous cells, you must flee before the name of Jesus like the lice of the Egyptians.  Go – in Jesus’ name. 

Father, let this be just the beginning of a great wave – a tsunami – of healings.  Change us by your healing power.  Fill us with a fresh breath of faith.  Encourage us with tangible results and verifiable testimonies of victory over cancer and every other sickness and disease.  Heal us, Lord.  Be our God. 

In Jesus’ name we pray.  So be it.

Thank you, Lord, for this house full of kids.  Your blessings are beyond measure.  Thank you for each life.  Thank you for all that you are pouring into them.  Thank you for the opportunity to be part of that. 

Holy Spirit, use me today to pray for my children and all my generations to come.  Lord, I plant the cross in the stream of everything that flows down through our family.  In the name of Jesus, every curse, every weakness, every genetic defect, and every generational sin must stop at the cross.  You shall not pass here.  Let all of those things be filtered out and blessing be multiplied.  Lord, be the river of life that flows through our family.

Father, look ahead and provide.  Father I pray for food and shelter and all the basic necessities of life to always be there for my children.  Only you know what lays ahead – but you are Jehovah who looks ahead and provides.  Bless my family.  May they always know you as their divine provider.  I declare that you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords; that you are God over this family.  We will serve you all the days of our lives. 

Holy Spirit, I invite you to be present at every meal, to be part of every conversation and activity.  Help us to always be mindful and aware of you.  To enjoy your company and be accountable to you.  Draw each heart and baptize us into Christ our Savior.  Plunge us deeply into the life of Christ and change us completely to be new creatures in Him.

Father, I ask for a shield of protection around each of us.  Keep us from the bondage of sin.  In the name of Jesus, I  take authority over lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and pride of life.  Forgive our sins and redeem us from our sinful natures.  Help us all to find the strait gate and the narrow road that leads to a victorious life in you.  Replace this human nature with your divine nature.  Redeem us and transform us into your likeness. 

Fill this family with your love.  Father I pray that your love will heal every wound and mend every broken heart.  You were bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement of our peace was upon you.  Set us free from the pull of familiar sin, and write your name on every heart.

Lord, I pray that each person in this family will have a deep transforming salvation experience in you.  That we all will serve you as Lord and loving master.  That each one of us will stand in right relationship with you.  Lord, I pray that each member of this family will be a pillar in your house, an established oak of righteousness planted by the waters with roots that run deeply into you.  Save us.  Transform us.  Embrace us.  Shape us into a holy nation and a people who walk in your favor. 

Lord, let revelation understanding and application of your word be the hallmark of this family.  Help us to provoke one another to good works and righteousness.  Help us to maintain a culture of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  Let your kingdom come and your will be done in our family. 

Holy Spirit, help each of us to make our callings and elections sure.  Prepare us and equip us for the things you have ordained as areas of service for each of us.  Help us to equip each generation with all the tools and weapons necessary to fulfill your will and purpose. 

Embrace this family with your loving kindness and gentle mercy.  Let every heart know your love and your presence.  May we stand before you as a holy nation.  In Jesus’ name.
